Analisis Risiko Dan Tingkat Pendapatan Usahatani Kopra Di Kecamatan Tobelo Selatan Kabupaten Halmahera Utara

Coconut plant is one of the people's plantation commodities that are widely cultivated by farmers, coconut cultivated in North Halmahera Regency is a type of deep coconut that is processed into copra. The process of processing copra is inseparable from several obstacles because there is a risk of production, price and income commonly faced by farmers. This study aims to find out the income of copra farmers and the magnitude of production risks, price risks and income risks.  The research was conducted in South Tobelo Subdistrict, Paca village, South Kupa-kupa village and Leleoto, North Halamahera. Sampling using the simple random sampling method where from each village is randomly selected by the drawing method, the number of respondents as many as 44 respondents. Data analysis methods used include business analysis and copra farming risk analysis. The results showed that the total cost incurred in copra farming amounted to Rp. 5,425,227 and coconut farming amounted to Rp. 2,887,539. Copra farming income amounted to Rp. 8,853,221 and coconut Rp. 3,859,907. The feasibility rate of copra farming with a value of R/C Ratio 2.51 and coconut R/C Ratio 2.41. This shows that copra and coconut farming is profitable and worth working on. The risk of copra income with CV (0.79) and coconut (0.76) income values indicates that the risk levels of copra and coconut are high risk. At risk the price of copra farming has a high risk compared to coconut farming.
