Tomato plants are a type of vegetables that are widely consumed by the community in the form of vegetables, cooking seasonings, food coloring, fruit drinks or used as medicinal ingredients and cosmetics. Tomato is a type of plant that can grow in low levels or highlands. Indonesia is a tropical climate, so it is suitable for the growth of tomatoes that get enough rainfall and sunlight. The purpose of this study is 1) to determine the influence of production factors on the amount of production and 2) to determine the level of technical efficiency in tomato farming in Gurabunga Village, Tidore District, Tidore Islands City. Sample determination using the random sampling method, which is one of the sampling techniques randomly in tomato farmers, there are 135 farmer populations in Gurabunga Village, sample determination using the slovin formula, the number of samples obtained is 57 farmers. The results of research by tomato farmers in Gurabunga Village, Tidore District, Tidore Islands City, are as follows: 1) the variable land area (X1) and the seed use variable (X2) are production factors that affect tomato farming, while the production factors that do not affect the amount of production are the fertilizer use variable (X3), the pesticide use variable (X4) and the labor variable (X5). 2) while the level of technical efficiency from the research results obtained a maximum value of 0.97, a minimum value of 0.37 with an average value of technical efficiency level of 0.67 which means that it shows that in general tomato farmers in Gurabunga Village are able to achieve a technical efficiency level of 67 percent, farmers in Gurabunga Village have a 33 percent chance of increasing tomato production.
