PERANCANGAN PUSAT UMKM KOTA TERNATE DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR NEO VERNACULAR

Abstrak

Micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) is an important role in improving the regional economy. In addition to this, UMKM also play a very important role in expanding employment opportunities and can also encourage the community's economy. The design of the Ternate UMKM center building is expected to be a forum for creative business actors in Ternate, especially those that are still on a small scale. The design location is on Perikanan Street, Mangga Dua, South Ternate. The design of the UMKM center building consists of two main building masses. The first building is used as a commercial area to accommodate the functions of a sales/promotion, an exhibition, and food corner area. The second building is used as a business technical management area and a building management area. Neo Vernacular architecture will be applied in buildings. Besides aiming to make the appearance of the building more characterful and easily recognizable, another goal is to take part in preserving the local culture and past history of Ternate City
