PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DENGAN INTEGRASI MODEL Think Pair Share DAN PETA KONSEP BEPENGARUH TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS DI KOTA TERNATE

Salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru biologi di sekolah mengah atas yaitu siswa kurang aktif dalam belajar secara mandiri dan berkelompok sehingga berpengaruh pada hasil belajar koginitifnya. Integrasi antara model TPS dengan peta konsep sangat diperlukan untuk mempermudah dalam pemahaman konsep biologi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menguji pengaruh model Think Pair Share (TPS) terintegrasi peta konsep terhadap  kemampuan kognitif siswa menengah atas. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental,sampel penelitian adalah siswa yang aktif sekolah pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 berjumlah 41 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran kemampuan kognitif menggunakan soal tes pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai siginfikan model belajar sebesar 0,00 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (p<0,05), dengan demikian model Pembelajaran kooperatif TPS berbantuan Peta konsep berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa mengenah atas.
