MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS TENTANG MASALAH SOSIAL MELALUI METODE COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE INSIDE - OUTSIDE CIRCLE (IOC)DI KELAS IV SDN CIPINANG MELAYU 12 PETANG JAKARTA TIMUR

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Cipinang Melayu 12 Petang pada materi Masalah Sosial dengan menggunakan Metode Cooperative Learning Tipe Inside-Outside Circle. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Cipinang Melayu 12 Petang YANG beralamat di Jalan Kartika Eka Paksi KPAD Jatiwaringin, Jakarta Timur. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan sejak bulan Maret sampai dengan Mei 2012 pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2011-2012. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan data yang diperoleh data dari proses pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan metode Cooperative Learning tipe IOC. Pada hasil belajar IPS ranah kognitif memperoleh prosentase sebesar 62,50% meningkat menjadi 100% di siklus II. Hasil belajar IPS aspek afektif mengalami kenaikan sebesar 69,56% menjadi 88,18% di siklus II. Hasil belajar aspek psikomotor sejumlah 68,25% pada siklus I menjadi 83,50% di siklus II. Prosentase aktivitas guru pada siklus I dan siklus II mencapai 63,75% menjadi 92,5%. Prosentase aktivitas siswa kenaikan sejumlah 66,25% menjadi 96,25%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah metode Cooperative Learning tipe IOC dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.

ABSTRACT. The purpose of this research was to analyze the efforts to improve learning result of IPS' student  class IV SDN Cipinang Melayu 12 Petang on Social material problem with using Cooperative Learning Method Type Inside-Outside Circle. Research conducted at SDN Cipinang Melayu 12 Petang that at Jln. Kartika Eka Paksi KPAD Jatiwaringin, East Jakarta. The research was carried out during the three months from March to May 2012 in the second semester of the school year 2011-2012. The reserach was conducted using the method of classroom action research (PTK). The research was conducted in two cycles. The research result show data that obtained from the data of the learning process IPS with using Cooperative Learning method type IOC. In the results of IPS' studies cognitive obtain a percentage of 62.50% rising to 100% in the cycle II. In the results of IPS' studies to affective aspects increased by 69.56% to 88.18% in the cycle II. In the results of psychomotor aspects of learning outcomes is number of 68.25% in the cycle I to 83.50% in the cycle II. Percentage is activity the teachers in cycle I and the cycle II reaches 63.75% to 92.5%. The percentage is student activity increase in number of 66.25% to 96.25%. The implication of this research is the Cooperative Learning method type IOC can be used as one of learning methods to improve learning outcomes IPS student in primary school especially to class IV.
