Keanekaragaman ikan karang di gugusan pulau kecil Tidore. Indonesia
Abstract
Penelitian tentang persentase tutupan karang di perairan Pulau Oba, Kepulauan Tidore, selesai pada bulan April 2021, yang bertujuan untuk menentukan persentase tutupan karang di perairan Kecamatan Pulau Oba, yang terdiri dari Pulau Woda, Pulau Raja, Pulau Tamin, Pulau Guratu. Penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan Metode Pengambilan Sampel Sistematis dan pemantauan data terumbu karang menggunakan metode UPT (Underwater Photo Transect) sedangkan pengumpulan data ikan karang menggunakan metode sensus visual. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa kondisi rata-rata terumbu karang di perairan Kecamatan Oba, nilai tertinggi terumbu karang adalah 5,41 dan nilai terendah adalah 4,29. Hubungan positif % menunjukkan bahwa jika keragaman bentuk pertumbuhan karang tinggi, maka keragaman ikan karang target akan tinggi, namun tidak signifikan dengan hasil yang diperoleh pada saat penelitian.
