Abstrak

Ramadan is a special moment for Muslims, because in this month, religious and social activities are held. The nights in the holy month of Ramadan are enlivened by tarawih prayers, tadarus al-Qur'an, tarawih sermons and dawn sermons. In addition, in the afternoon approaching the time of Maghrib, Indonesian people have a special custom, namely breaking the fast together. The activity of breaking the fast together or known as bukber is not only followed by Muslims, even quite a few non-Muslims also participate in enlivening it. One of the social entities in the city of Yogyakarta that routinely holds bukber in the month of Ramadan is the Sega Mubeng Community. In 2018, this community began its humanitarian action by distributing rice parcels to the poor, needy, and informal workers they met along the way without looking at their religious, racial, or ethnic backgrounds. Meanwhile, in the month of Ramadan, the Sega Mubeng Community routinely holds breaking the fast together.
