The aims of this study are: (1) To analyze the simultaneous effect of education and training variables in the form of methods used, training materials and training trainers on the performance of employees in the local government of Taliabu Regency 2017-2021; (2) To partially analyze the effect of education and training variables in the form of methods used, training materials and training trainers on employee performance in the local government of Taliabu Regency 2017-2021; (3) To analyze which variables of education and training have the most dominant influence on employee performance in the local government of Taliabu Regency 2017-2021. Using primary data with Questionnaire and documentation methods. This study uses an explanation (explanatory research) using the survey method, namely research that seeks to explain the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was a simultaneous effect of training method variables (X1), training materials (X2) and training trainers (X3) on employee performance (Y). Partially, the training method variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and the training material variable has a non-significant negative effect on employee performance, while the training trainer variable has a non-significant positive effect on employee performance. Then the most dominant influence is using training in improving employee performance in the local government of Taliabu Regency.
