KOMPARASI TRADISI COKAIBA DALAM RELASI BUDAYA AUSTRONESIA DI HALMAHERA

Abstrak

Traditional art relation to religious form relate with cokaiba perform. Cokaiba itself have relation with spatial and time. Time form ties cokaiba with historical process in pre modern migration of two traditional linguistic groups, and spatial form shows similarity with art tradition with many places in Indonesia. It aims to find an answer how it could be. And proves to atract similarities cokaiba with other tradition in many Indonesia places. Acculturation with Islam replaces tradisional thought but it never try to eliminate.
