STUDI LITERATUR TENTANG METODE PENDINGINAN ASPAL JALAN DI INDONESIA: TINJAUAN, PENERAPAN, DAN IMPLIKASINYA

: Suhu permukaan jalan di Indonesia umumnya berkisar antara 30-40°C, yang mempercepat kerusakan aspal akibat konduktivitas termal rendah dan penyerapan radiasi matahari yang tinggi. Stres termal ini mengakibatkan rutting dan retakan prematur, mengancam durabilitas dan keselamatan jalan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, studi ini menggunakan metodologi tinjauan pustaka komprehensif untuk menjelajahi strategi efektif dalam menurunkan suhu aspal.

 

Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lapisan reflektif dan aspal berwarna terang secara signifikan menurunkan suhu permukaan, meningkatkan daya tahan jalan dan mengurangi biaya pemeliharaan. Selain itu, PCM dan vegetasi strategis mengurangi stres termal, yang lebih meningkatkan kinerja jalan di iklim tropis. Teknologi yang baru berkembang, termasuk perangkat penghasil energi dan teknik pendinginan canggih, menunjukkan potensi dalam meningkatkan ketahanan infrastruktur jalan.

 

Sebagai kesimpulan, penerapan teknologi ini tidak hanya memperpanjang umur layanan jalan tetapi juga berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan lingkungan dengan mengurangi efek pulau panas perkotaan. Dengan menurunkan suhu permukaan jalan, strategi ini meningkatkan keselamatan jalan, kenyamanan, dan kualitas hidup perkotaan secara keseluruhan di Indonesia dan daerah tropis serupa.
