Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model Problem-Based Learning ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis  pada siswa SMA Negeri 5 Kota  Ternate. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu, yang terdiri dari satu kelompok  eksperimen. Adapun sampel yang diperoleh yaitu siswa kelas XII IPA1 SMA N 5 Kota Ternate. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes yang terdiri atas soal tes kemampuan  pemecahan masalah matematis. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Problem-Based Learning pada variabel  kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis digunakan uji one samples t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Problem-Based Learning efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.
