PEMBELAJARAN NUMBER SENSE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR PADA MATERI PECAHAN

Makalah ini menjelaskan pembelajaran number sense di sekolah dasar pada materi pecahan. Pembelajaran number sense yang dimaksud dalam makalah ini adalah pengajaran materi pecahan dengan tiga indikator number sense yaitu: memahami arti dasar dari pecahan, memahami pengaruh dari operasi pada pecahan menggunakan perhitungan yang tepat. Diharapkan setelah pembelajaran number sense, siswa mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi pecahan. Number sense adalah pemahaman terhadap bilangan beserta operasinya sehingga dapat menyelesaian masalah matematika dengan benar. Adapun enam strand number sense adalah pemahaman dan penggunaan arti dan ukuran bilangan. pemahaman dan penggunaan bentuk setara dan representasi dari bilangann, pemahaman makna dan dampak operasi, pemahaman dan penggunaan ekspresi setara, komputasi dan penggunaan strategi yang tepat serta penggunaan patokan dalam pengukuran
