Investigasi Kecemasan Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Terhadap Representasi Matematis
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecemasan matematika terhadap representasi matematis siswa dan melihat seberapa besar pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat korelasional. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Walenrang dengan jumlah 72 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Probability Sampling type Proportionate Stratifiend Random Sampling. Data diperoleh dari angket dan tes. Data penelitian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan kecemasan matematika terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dan menggunakan statistik inferensial untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kecemasan matematis siswa sebesar 67.32 dengan kategori sedang dan standar deviasi sebesar 10.764, sedangkan rata-rata skor kemampuan representasi matematis sebesar 53.76 dengan kategori kurang tinggi dan standar deviasi 15.444. Selain itu, hasil uji inferensial menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan matematika berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sebesar 56%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan studi lebih lanjut faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kemampuan representasi matematis untuk cakupan yang lebih luas.Unduhan
