This study aimed to analyze the influence of farmers' knowledge, skills, and attitudes on the use of organic fertilizers among farmer groups in Toboino and Dakaino Villages, East Wasile District, East Halmahera Regency. Organic fertilizer utilization is an important strategy to support sustainable agriculture through improving soil fertility and reducing dependence on inorganic fertilizers. This study employed a quantitative survey method involving 30 farmers from farmer groups in both villages. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and field observations and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that farmers' skills significantly influenced the use of organic fertilizers (Sig. = 0.039 < 0.05), whereas knowledge (Sig. = 0.656) and attitude (Sig. = 0.304) had no significant partial effect. The regression equation obtained was Y = 8.467 − 0.114X₁ + 0.480X₂ + 0.212X₃. The findings indicate that technical skills in producing and applying organic fertilizers are the most important factor affecting organic fertilizer utilization. Therefore, extension programs and practical training should be strengthened to enhance farmers' skills in supporting sustainable agricultural development.
