PENDAMPINGAN KOMUNITAS BELAJAR DALAM MENGIMPLEMENTASIKAN KURIKULUM MERDEKA DI SMALB NEGERI KOTA TERNATE

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Special Senior High Schools (SMALB) requires a special strategy, including through strengthening the capacity of educators through learning communities. This research or mentoring activity aims to describe the process and impact of mentoring learning communities in understanding and implementing the Independent Curriculum in SMALB Negeri Ternate City. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the mentoring show that the existence of a learning community provides a collaborative space for teachers to discuss, share good practices, and compile teaching modules that are in accordance with the characteristics of students with special needs. In addition, there was an increase in teachers' understanding of the principles of differentiation, diagnostic assessment, and flexible learning planning. The obstacles faced include limited resources and the need for further training Overall, mentoring learning communities has proven effective in supporting the implementation of an inclusive and contextual Independent Curriculum in the SMALB environment.
