About the Journal

Journal of Bioeducation (bioedu), with registered number ISSN 2301-427X (Print) and ISSN 2829-0844 (Online), is a peer-reviewed journal published two times a year (April and October) by Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Khairun. BIOEDU is intended to be the journal for publishing articles reporting the results of research on Biology Education.

The BIOEDU invites manuscripts in the various topics include, but not limited to, functional areas of Biology and its Learning, Microbiology, Anatomy, Fisiology, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, and Learning Technology.

MIGRATION TRANSITION FROM OJS VER. 2.0 TO VER 3.0

Dear Authors,

To optimize the management of our Open Journal Systems (OJS), the University's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Center is currently migrating the journal platform from OJS Version 2 to OJS Version 3. During this transition period, the existing OJS Version 2 database has been temporarily hosted at the following link:

https://ejournal.xternate.com/index.php/bioedu/login

Authors are kindly requested to visit the above website to submit their manuscripts. For authors who have previously registered on OJS Version 2, their existing accounts (username and password) remain active and can still be used to access the system.

Authors who do not yet have an account are requested to register and submit their manuscripts through the following link:

https://ejournal.xternate.com/index.php/bioedu/login

Manuscript submissions for the May 2026 issue will be accepted through this temporary platform until further notice regarding the official launch of OJS Version 3 by the ICT Center of Universitas Khairun.
