PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR GEOGRAFI PADA SISWA KELAS XII IPS 3 DI SMA NEGERI 10 KOTA TERNATE

Abstrak

This study aims to examine the application of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in improving students' learning outcomes in geography, particularly on the topic of Population Growth Centers and Regional Spatial Planning at SMA Negeri 10 Ternate City. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) designed to address the problem of low learning outcomes in the classroom. The research subjects were 35 students of class XII IPS 3 in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The study was carried out in two action cycles. Data were collected using observation sheets, learning achievement tests, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the STAD model on the topic of Population Growth Centers and Regional Spatial Planning significantly improved students' learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in classical mastery of learning outcomes (students meeting the minimum mastery criterion of 75). In cycle I, the percentage of students achieving mastery was 40%, which then increased significantly to 90% at the end of cycle II.
