INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHOR
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
EDUKASI
EDUKASI publishes high-quality scholarly articles in the field of education. Authors are encouraged to carefully follow these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts to ensure an efficient review and publication process.
1. General Requirements
- The manuscript must be original and free from plagiarism.
- The manuscript must not have been published or be under consideration by another journal.
- Research articles and literature review articles are accepted.
- Empirical research articles are prioritized.
- Beginning with the 2026 publication cycle, manuscripts must be written in English.
- Abstracts should be provided in both English and Indonesian.
- Manuscripts must be prepared using the official EDUKASI template.
- Only Microsoft Word files (.doc or .docx) are accepted. PDF submissions are not permitted.
2. Manuscript Format
- Paper Size: A4
- Font: Palatino Linotype
- Font Size: 11 pt
- Line Spacing: Multiple (1.15)
- Manuscripts must follow the journal template without modifying fonts, paragraph settings, or document structure.
3. Title, Authors, and Affiliation
The manuscript should include:
- Article Title
- Full Author Name(s)
- Institutional Affiliation(s)
- Email Address(es)
- Corresponding Author Information
4. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should not exceed 200 words and should clearly present:
- Research Purpose
- Research Method
- Major Findings
- Conclusion
- Practical or Theoretical Implications
Keywords should consist of 3–5 words or phrases representing the core content of the article.
5. Structure of Manuscript
Research articles should consist of:
- Introduction
- Method
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
6. Introduction
The Introduction should include the background of the study, literature review, state of the art, research gap, research objectives, and problem formulation. The section should be written as a continuous narrative without subheadings.
7. Method
The Method section should clearly explain the research design, data collection procedures, research instruments, participants or data sources, and techniques used for data analysis.
8. Results and Discussion
Results and Discussion should present original findings supported by appropriate evidence obtained through observation, surveys, interviews, documentation, experiments, or other research methods.
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively.
- Table titles should be placed above the table.
- Figure captions should be placed below the figure.
- All tables and figures must be cited and discussed in the text.
9. Conclusion
The conclusion should clearly summarize the major findings of the study and explain their implications for educational theory, practice, policy, or future research.
10. References
References must follow APA Style (6th Edition) and should be managed using reference management software such as:
- Mendeley
- Zotero
- EndNote
Important Notice
- Authors must use the latest EDUKASI manuscript template.
- Authors are not permitted to alter the journal formatting style.
- Manuscripts not complying with the template may be returned without review.
- Only Word documents are accepted during submission.
