Facilities are an amenity component that shapes the quality of the visitor experience in community-based ecotourism destinations. This study aimed to describe visitors’ perceptions of seven facility dimensions at Pulo Tareba, Ternate City, to test whether perceptions of each item lay above the neutral point, and to identify improvement priorities. This descriptive quantitative survey involved 100 visitors recruited through accidental sampling in April–May 2026 using a 41-item, five-point Likert questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Mi–SDi categories, one-sample t-tests with Holm correction, and the sign test as a nonparametric check. Overall perception was categorised as Good (M = 3.74; 74.81%). Facility attractiveness (M = 3.90) and cleanliness (M = 3.88) were the highest-rated dimensions, whereas facility quality was the lowest (M = 3.47). Forty of the 41 items were significantly above the neutral point; the only exception was evening/night lighting (M = 3.14; pHolm = .109). Seven items were identified as priorities, particularly lighting, seating capacity, building materials, maintenance, and child- and elderly-friendly design. No respondent rejected revisiting or recommending Pulo Tareba. These findings suggest that the natural setting sustains the visitor experience, while the physical quality of facilities needs improvement through preventive maintenance and inclusive design.
